Die Band // the band...

We'd known each other for years, played in various bands together, got along well.  But, well... something was missing.  Always playing the same old songs that cover bands always play.  Always thinking that the harmonies could be so much better, so much more.  And:  Always talking about being in a band "some day" where we could really celebrate vocal harmony -- like the Beatles did, or CSN&Y, or Simon & Garfunkel, or the Who...
And then one day we thought:  Do we just want to
talk about it, or do we want to do it?

The answer was pretty easyRJM.

So we began to practice.  We meet in the living room, sometimes in the garden/yard, sit around a table and really get into the experience, the sound of 3 voices together.  Yup, we were all born in '59 or '60, so of course we found a lot of songs by the bands we had known and loved.  But we're more than just that.  We can do new stuff, too!  We can do different stuff!  And so we're not afraid of Mylie Cyrus, disco, or punk -- it's just that we do them our way.  We try to arrange them so that the vocals are in the forefront.  We play pretty sparse acoustic arrangements so that there's plenty of room for the voices.

We're having a blast!  And we hope you do, too
!
